During the production of a video game "Deus Ex" released in 2000, the NY Skyline was lacking the Twin Towers. When questioned about the seeming error the developers added an in game explanation the the buildings had been brought down by a terrorist attack.
The pilot episode of The Lone Gunmen in Australia for instance involved the hijacking of a commercial flight and crashing it into the World Trade Center , the plot of the March 4, 2001 pilot episode of the series depicts a secret U.S. government agency plotting to crash a Boeing 727 headed for Boston into the World Trade Center. This episode aired in Australia less than two weeks before the 9/11 attacks.
Another drama that is amazingly eerie is Nosebleed, which was to be about a terrorist plot to bomb the World Trade Center. It was planned to feature actor Jackie Chan as a window washer who uncovers the plot and tries to stop the terrorists. Renny Harlin was to direct it, the same Renny Harlin who worked on Die Hard 2.
The Plot reads that the terrorists planned to cause the collapse of the Twin Towers. A terrorists line reads -
"It represents capitalism. It represents freedom. It represents everything America is about. And to bring those two buildings down would bring America to its knees."
Filming was to begin on location at the World Trade Center ............. On September 11 ... it didn't happen.
The plans were canceled and Chan was in Toronto on September 11.
Fall From the Sky was to be a made for TV movie. It had it been completed would have told the story of the crash of a passenger aircraft in which hundreds of people die. Although the towers were not involved , the script had investigators examining the possibility that Osama bin Laden was responsible for the crash.
Rapper Biggie Small recorded a song called 'juicy' in 1994, 7 years before the 911 attack. In one verse he raps as follows: 'it's time to get paid, blow up like the world trade'. Why would he talk about the world trade centre blowing up 7 years before it happenned? In this case, it's possible he was referring to the bombing in the parking garage in 1993.

In the Financial Markets certain events appear to have foretold the impending disaster.

Bill Bergman a former Federal Reserve economist and policy analyst raised eyebrows in 2004 when he voiced concerns about extremely unprecedented and unusual currency transactions just prior to 9-11.
Mr. Bergman had worked at the Chicago Federal Reserve as an economist and analyst, until he began questioning bizarre currency movements pre 9-11. After nearly 14 years of exemplary service he was abruptly terminated in 2004 for asking the wrong questions.
In the course of his research, he noticed some strange things. His research uncovered one of largest cash movements since 1947. The movements amounted to about $5 billion above the average monthly norm and all occurring just before 9-11-01.

As per the Houston Chronicle. The boy was absent from school on September 11 and 12.
12 days later, the Chronicle reported in a follow-up article: Garland Police spokeswoman Stephanie Funk said today that FBI agents interviewed the child's teacher and decided no further investigation was warranted.
The newspaper that reported the story also noted that two charities, Holy Land Foundation and InfoCom, from the same suburban area were under investigation based on suspected fund-raising activities for Islamic militant organizations. The article has since been scrubbed from the internet but its existence at the time is well documented and beyond the realm of Urban Legend.
Once again - irrefutable and beyond the scope of Urban Legend is the story of the High School freshman from Brooklyn who pointed out a classroom window at the World Trade Center and said to the class and teacher.
'Do you see those two buildings? They won't be standing there next week.'
The boy's family were recent immigrants from Pakistan. Moments after the attacks, school officials notified authorities about the student's prediction. On September 13, the FBI and NYPD interviewed the boy / insurgent, his brother, and their father.
After the interviews, the father hurriedly fled to Pakistan, leaving his family behind.
