The Malachy Prophecy of the Popes

The Prophecy of the Popes attributed to Saint Malachy {Malachy O’Morgair Archbishop of Armagh Ireland} allegedly predicted the Succession of Popes up until the current era.

Pope Francis Harbinger of the Ant- Christ

Malachy's Prophecy of the Popes begins with Pope Celestine II who was elected in 1143 and ends with a pope described in the prophecy as "Peter the Roman", whose pontificate will end with the destruction of the city of Rome and the Final Judgment. That pope is the current one Pope Francis.

Malachy allegedly committed his visions to paper and handed the manuscript to Pope Innocent II who allegedly placed the manuscript in the archives where they remained "unread" for nearly four hundred years. After being locked away for four Centuries, they were discovered in the Vatican archives in 1590 just before a papal conclave, and were published in 1595 by a Benedictine historian -Arnold de Wyon. Controversy ensued over the authenticity and authorship of the prophecies. Malachy's prophecies were right on point up till their date of publication, the accuracy became sketchy and vague in the years that followed. This seems to indicate that Arnold de Wyon may have fabricated the manuscript. Adding insult to injury is the fact that the portion of the prophecies describing events before 1595 closely resembles a preexisting 1557 history of the popes by Author Onofrio Panvinio.

Despite the detractions from the manuscripts validity some interesting links have been made between Malachy’s prophecy and the succeeding popes that are reasonably accurate. The description of Jon XXII, who reigned from 1316 to 1334, is “from the bony shoemaker” ["de sutore osseo”] Jon XXII was the son of a shoemaker, and his family name was “Ossa,” meaning bone. In another close match Urban VII, who only reigned for 12 days in 1590 the year of the manuscripts discovery, was described as "lilium et rosa" his family crest was composed of roses and lilies.

Fact or Fiction, the prophecies of Saint Malachy, have enthralled readers for centuries since their rediscovery. He has stated there would be only one more pope after Benedict [2], and during his reign comes the end of the world. So Francis as per the prophecy will be the last. The prophecy reads: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End.”

Francis pre-papal name was Jorge Mario Bergoglio, a far fling from Peter the Roman. His father however was Peter, or Pietro, and was from Italy even though the family moved to Argentina, so I guess that could stretch it enough to fulfill prophecy? Proponents of the prophecy point out that the father of St. Francis of Assisi, from whom Pope Francis selected his papal name, also had a father whose first name was Pietro, which translates to Peter.

The Malachy prophecies apparently have been taken very seriously by Catholic hiearchy. 'During the Conclave of 1958, Spellman's papal ambitions became the talk of Rome, sheathed in a joke. Spellman, so the joke went, had hired a boat, filled it with sheep and sailed up and down the river Tiber in the belief that he was helping the fulfillment of the prophecy.' [ The Two Catholic Presidents and a Revolutionary Pope ] It has also been speculated that John Paul I, who only reigned for 33 days, was murdered, poisoned in order to fulfill prophecy.

Tom Horn and Cris Putnam, authors of “Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope is Here.” believe that Malachy predicted Benedict's resignation. Pope Benedict XVI, the only pope in the modern era to retire from the papacy without dying. They offer a rebuttal to the charge of manipulation of the manuscript and state that entries prior to 1595 were rewritten for political gain. Thus, as per their logic, later entries remain valid.

According to the prophecy of "the last Pope," taken from St. Malachy's "Prophecy of the Popes," the Pope who follows Pope Benedict XVI will be the false prophet who leads the world into embracing the political leader known as the Antichrist.

Is Pope Francis the Harbinger of the Anti-Christ

Could Pope Francis be the the Harbinger of the Anti-Christ, just as John the Baptist was the Harbinger of Christ ? Many people think so.

If Communism or any other clever guises commonly hailed as Socialism is the Anti-Christ or a tool of the anti-Christ, then there's a good possibility Pope Francis is its harbinger, or at the very least it's stooge.

Francis has blatantly displayed his disdain for free market economies, despite the repeated failures of competing systems. This alone does not make him evil, it simply makes him ignorant. He embraces cultural Marxism either knowingly or ignorantly and disregards capitalism' ability to feed more of the masses and generate a greater abundance for a broader spectrum of the population, like most sjws he fixates on the failures and is incapable of comprehending the grander scheme to reality. The Lord works in mysterious ways, if we are to accept the ideology of this pretender to the papacy you simply have to believe that catch phrase, mysterious indeed.

Pope Francis has become an icon of leftists Marxists, Socialist and assorted apparatchik. He himself apparently is an 'apparatchik" - a non card carrying member of the communist party. As leader of the Earth's 1.2 billion Catholics, very very few of whom have had experienced any measurable level of prosperity under any socialist system, and a multitude who have suffered under its thumb, he has had the chutzpah to criticize capitalism as a source of inequality and a killer.

Raul Castro, brother of Fidel and current leader of Communist Cuba, the most impoverished country in the western hemisphere, endorsed Pope Francis which is unprecedented amongst Communist leaders "If the Pope continues this way, I will go back to praying and go back to the church - I am not joking." Francis found this complimentary and paid homage to the dictator in September 2015 with a stopover in Havana.

"I think this is a Pope who clearly has some Marxist leanings. It's unquestionable that he has a very vocal skepticism (about) capitalism and free enterprise and… I find that to be very troubling." Stephen Moore - Heritage Foundation

Evangelii Gaudium, [translated the Joy of the Gospels], issued by Pope Francis is viewed by many as a global social engineering scheme. Rush Limbaugh, dismissed Pope Francis's exhortation as "pure Marxism".

From Harry Binswanger - Forbes

"...But Limbaugh is right. More than that, he's right because Marxism—and collectivism in general—is merely a secularized form of religion. Vox Populi, Vox Dei. The voice of the people substitutes in Marx for the voice of God.

Here is the countdown of the Top Ten points that the pope and Marx agree on.

10. Free trade on a free market—bad Controls and confiscations—good

9. Profit—evil, gained through someone's loss Redistribution—obligatory, restores goods to their proper owners

8. Making money on money—depraved Toiling in the sweat of your brow—noble

7. Rendering unto Caesar and/or God—required Keeping your income—scandalous

6. Baking your cake and eating it, too—without moral significance Baking your cake and letting another eat it—an act of virtue

5. You didn't build that—true You built it and therefore should own it—false

4. Greed—loathsome Self-denial—beautiful

3. Inequality—unfair Bringing down the rich—justice

2. Working to achieve your rational self-interest—predatory Serving an unperceivable, mystical entity (society or God)—exalted

And the number one thing the pope and Marx agree on is:

1. Regarding your life as supremely important—arrogant vanity Realizing that all you are is "dust in the wind"—knowing your place."

John Paul II, the adored Polish Pope, lived most of his life under socialist rule, first the Nazi's followed by the Bolsheviks and he emerged to reign in the papacy as a hardened ant-communist. Francis on the other hand, lived a life of privilege under a capitalist economy. He came of age in Argentina under Juan Peron and his failed quasi-socialist system dubbed Peronism. Like many SJWs Francis viewed the fact that some of his countrymen were not a prosperous as he was to be an indictment of capitalism, he views it as an inequality and oppression, displaying his pure unadulterated arrogant ignorance.

The Communist Pope
Pope Francis Calls For Marxist Economic Summit

As if there needs to be further evidence that the current occupant of St. Peter’s Chair in Rome is a Marxist, the announcement of an upcoming conference at Assisi entitled the “Economy of Francesco” should convince any skeptic otherwise.

In his invitation letter to “young economists and entrepreneurs worldwide,” Bergoglio sets the agenda for the Leftist confab quite clearly which is virulently anti-market, a call for massive redistribution of wealth, and a reordering of the current economic systems of the world with a healthy dose of climate change nonesense:

While Bergoglio’s Marxist credentials have been firmly established, his blasphemous actions and words has a growing number outside of “sedevacantist circles” calling him a heretic. The legitimacy of “Pope Francis,” however, is more fundamental than him being a manifest heretic, but his standing as a legitimate pope is invalid since his ordination as a priest and his consecration as a bishop came under the new rites of Holy Orders instituted in the wake of the Second Vatican anti-Council (1962-1965).
