The Kingdom of Agarttha A Journey into the Hollow Earth

Modern science contends that our Planet is a series of tectonic plates with layers, crusts, and liquid magma enveloping a dense, hot core comprised primarily of iron and nickel. In earlier times, 16th - 17th centuries and further into antiquity, the prevailing scientific theory was that the Earth is actually hollow.

Agartha The Earth's Inner World

Hollow Earth and Agartha Legends have deep roots in World Mythology. Roman naturalist Pliny the Elder even spoke of those who escaped Atlantis’ demise by fleeing to the Earth’s core. Pliny also suggested that Pytheas had traveled far north to the legendary locale.

"He [Pytheas] is also the first person on record to describe the midnight sun. The theoretical existence of some Northern phenomena that he described, such as a frigid zone, and temperate zones where the nights are very short in summer and the sun does not set. " Wikipedia Article - Pytheas

Edmund Halley [165 - 1742], [Halley’s Comet]. Proposed in 1692 that the planet is a series of spherical shells, rotating in opposing directions, surrounding a central core. He also theorized that the space between each shell could have had luminous life sustaining atmospheres.

Joseph Alexandre Saint-Yves [1842-1909], influenced by the works of Antoine Fabre d'Olivet [1767 - 1825] claimed that an ancient world government relocated to the hollow Earth circa 3200 BC See: The Kingdom of Agarttha A Journey into the Hollow Earth. The name of this subterranean civilization is Agartha aka Shambala. Gérard Encausse [1865 - 1916] published an edited version of Saint-Yves theories in 1886. In Beasts Men and Gods, Polish intellectual and explorer Ferdynand Ossendowski [1876-1956] tells tales of Agartha which he calls Agarthi a subterranean kingdom existing inside the Earth.

The German Thule-Gesellschaft, aka Thule Society borrowed from these legends in the Post World War I era with the their theories of Thule or Ultima Thule, a mythical land located by early and ancient Greco-Romans in the far north. Thule is considered by many to be Synonymous with Agartha. The Thule society is predecessor of The Nazi party, which has contributed in part to claims of Nazi collaboration with several 'alien' groups, some versions say the Nordics, others the Tall Whites. The Nazis themselves may have referred to Agartha as Vril-ya based on an 1870 book The Coming Race.

Another early source regarding Agartha is The Smoky God written in 1908 it is purported to be the biography of Olaf Jansen, a Norwegian sailor. The book tells how Jansen’s sloop wandered through an entrance to the Earth’s interior near the North Pole. He lived for several years with the inhabitants of an underground world lit by a “smoky” central sun. The inhabitants [Agarthans] were around 12 feet tall. He does not use the name Agartha or Argathan or any facsimile thereof, but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck its' a duck, in this case Agarthan.

Hollow-Earthers are among those who believe in Agartha’s existence, they believe an advanced civilization exists at the Earths core. Some claim that there are hidden entrances to Agartha in the Gobi Desert, Tibet, the Poles, Mount Shasta in California and other locations around the globe.

The Extra Terrestrial Species Almanac claims that the Agarthans are an exraterrestrial species that came to Earth in deep antiquity and established the civilizations of Atlantis and Lemuria. When Atlantis and Lemuria sank they took a journey to the center of the Earth and extablished the Agarthan civilization. The agarthans are said to be identical to Humans in most respects, except for their height which averages 6 to 8 feet tall, but can attain upwards of 10 to 15 feet in height. Agarthans descended from Atlanteans are said to have complexions ranging from dark brown to fair, while those descended from Lemurians are fair skinned.
