Post World War II and the Nazi Bell Craft
In the years following World War II and the disappearance of the Nazi Bell, aircraft resembling the Nazi bell started showing up in some strange places.
Betty and Barney Hill - In December 1961 they were UFO abductees, they described the leader of the "Alien" captors as looking like a "German Nazi" wearing a shiny black jacket, scarf and cap. The Hills claim [Under hypnosis] to have seen what appeared to be men in Nazi SS Uniforms aboard the craft that abducted them.[*7]
George Adamski - In 1952 and 1953 Adamski allegedly photographed very similar bell-shaped flying objects. [*3]
The bulk of the Adamski story is bizarre, and had it not been for the similarities to the German projects, of which Adamski could have not had knowledge, I personally would have dismissed it as the ranting of a buffoon.
That Adamski had contact with UFOs is a probability, that their occupants were from "Venus" is highly unlikely. More probable is that they were [If they existed at all] simply Earth People involved in a high tech project. The balance of the Adamski story is either the work of an over active imagination on the part of Adamski, or intentional misinformation / noise fed to him, for what purpose I can only imagine.
The Kecksberg incident - Many theorists believe that a craft that crashed in Kecksberg PA in 1965 was either a / the Die Glocke or a US Government attempt at replicating what the Germans had done 20 years earlier. Whatever the particulars of variant conspiracy theories are - the object that crash landed certainly does bear a striking resemblance to what the Nazi Government had built 20 years earlier. Decades later, 2008, another craft of similar description crash landed in Needles California.
NASAs NAZIs
In 1945 American scientists were dispatched to Europe to collect information on German rocket research. The components for nearly 100 V-2 ballistic missiles was among the loot recovered and shipped to White Sands Proving Grounds in New Mexico.
In March 1945 Major General Hugh Knerr of US Strategic Forces in Europe, wrote to Lieutenant General Carl Spatz :
'Occupation of German scientific and industrial establishments has revealed the fact that we have been alarmingly backward in many fields of research, if we do not take this opportunity to seize apparatus and the brains that developed it and put this combination back to work promptly, we will remain several years behind while we attempt to cover a field already exploited.'[*4]'
The ensuing two decades saw what became to be known as the Brain Drain [*6], a post WWII phenomena that engulfed hoardes of eminent German Scientists driven to American shores. At the forefront of this stampede was Dr. Wernher von Braun.
Dr. Wernher von Braun, regarded as the father of the United States space program, worked under SS general Jakob Sporrenberg as technical director at the Peenemunde Rocket Center in Germany. There he and his team had built the infamous V-2 rocket. When von Braun and his colleagues realized that Germany would lose the war and Russian troops would soon occupy Peenemunde, they fled the rocket development site in droves.
Most eventually surrendered to American forces. More than 100 members of the von Braun team came to the United States to work under US Army supervision. See Also: From Nazis to NASA: The Life of Wernher von Braun
Walter Dohrnberger ,sentenced to be hung at Nuremberg, was saved by Werner von Braun who refused to work for the US until he knew Dohrnberger was safe.
Dohrnberger later became head of a major US aerospace corporation - ironically it was Bell Aerospace Corp. Over 300 other German scientists were incorporated into the US Military - Industrial mega complex. Many of these had skeletons in their closets. Case in point- Arthur Rudolph -NASA's project director for Saturn V Who later relinquished his U.S. citizenship rather than face charges for war crimes.
All of these Scientists that were part of the Diaspora of German Intellectuals following the War to their American promised land had knowledge of Nazi secret projects and had taken part in them. Many had taken part in or helped develop Die glocke - the Nazi Bell, in some capacity or another. Unfortunately, assuming Witkowski is correct the 60 Scientists directly involved in building it are buried together in a mass grave courtesy of the SS.

There is speculation that some of aspects of the Bell project were reverse engineered when in 1947 Argentina created it's own nuclear program at Lake Nahuel Huapei, close to the Nazi haven of Barriloche.
Technology from the very same device [Die Glocke] off loaded from the German Junker. Information that the Bell was a particle accelerator is in part confirmed based on a 1956 job application to work for the US Air Force by Dr Ronald Richter, who had worked on Argentine nuclear project. Richter claimed the Argentine project involved use of a particle accelerator, which is basically what the Bell was theorized to be.
