The "Egyptian statue" photographed on Mars by the Opportunity rover, was first discovered by blogger Amanda Reilly. The image is from the interior wall of Victoria Crater which is believed to be billions of years old.
The image, perhaps Pareidolia, perhaps not, is reminiscent of statues of Pharaohs and deities found in Earth borne Egyptian ruins.
It is possible, however unlikely, that natural weathering ,wear and geological factors could have randomly created a feature such as this.
The possibility of it being artificial / Intelligently made, are strong.
