This type of Yellow Journalism is a foregone conclusion from the NY Times and CNN but this time it's ABC. Dr. R. Shane Day, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency’s National Center for Medical Intelligence (NCMI), issued a statement countering ABC News’ claim that his agency laid out coronavirus concerns in November.

Daily Caller - NCMI Director Counters ABC Story Claiming November Intelligence Document Laid Out Coronavirus Concerns - The report, released by ABC News Wednesday morning, claimed: “U.S. intelligence officials were warning that a contagion was sweeping through China’s Wuhan region, changing the patterns of life and business and posing a threat to the population, according to four sources briefed on the secret reporting.”
The ["Confidential" 😏] sources told the news outlet that a “detailed explanation of the problem” appeared in President Donald Trump’s “Daily Brief of intelligence matters in early January.”
National Review - A Curious Report from ABC News - This is a curious report, because all the previous public reports have relied on the British medical journal The Lancet, which identified the first “index case” as showing symptoms for the first time on December 1, 2019. That likely points to infections spreading in November, but no source inside or outside of China has previously reported visible signs of the virus prior to December 1.
Fox News - Defense official says media reports about November coronavirus intel assessment are false - A defense official on Wednesday issued a rare denial of reports by ABC News and others that claimed a November intelligence assessment warned about a rapidly spreading coronavirus in China that posed a threat to American forces in the region. The official said no such assessment existed.
