It has been claimed that an Advanced Placement high school history textbook contains segments which describe Donald Trump as Mentally Ill and his Supporters as Racist. While this is somewhat true - it is not 100% true. The book itself describes the image the Clinton camp tried to depict the "Deplorable s" Trump supporters as. It does not offer very much negative commentary about Clinton, in fact it whitewashes her incredulous history. It glosses over or ignores her propensity for disinformation, fabrication, falsehoods, misrepresentation, incompetence and larceny.

The text book rarely offers its own opinions or descriptions of Trump or "we the People" aka 'basket of deplorable s'. Instead, it accentuates left wing slurs and propaganda aimed at the Republican camp and Trump’s supporters while only vaguely and in passing mentioning Clintonesque transgressions. Some rare case where the Author belches his bias are 1. .. his not very hidden racism connected with a significant number of primary voters" 2. On trump supporters " Mostly older, often rural or suburban and overwhelmingly white"

The textbook, published by Pearson Education, is titled, “By the People: A History of the United States.” It was first brought into the limelight in 2018 by radio host Alex Clark.

Tarra Snyder, a student at Rosemount High School in Minnesota, who saw a copy of the book sent to her school, told Fox News she was “appalled" after seeing how “blatantly biased” the newest edition of “By the People: A History of the United States” was toward Trump and his voters. She said it also glossed over all issues then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton faced during her campaign.' Anti-Trump American history textbook 'blatantly biased,' critics say

As per Education & Information Age Education News "mainstream history text book, stocked in schools and libraries, has sections in its 2019 edition that declare President Trump to be an open racist, and claims that he only got elected because most of his voters are also racists." Prominent History Text Book Declares Trump A Racist

National Review called the book a 'hit job as history'. The complete story of “By the People: A History of the United States.” is mind boggling as to the scope of its drive by style hits on American History . The Author James W. Fraser, although he masterfully circumvents reality by avoiding openly displaying or conveying his own leftist bias manages to give a wedgie to American exceptionalism by downplaying positivity that would be consider pro-conservative and highlighting negativity that is pro- left.

Quotes From By the People: A History of the United States.
Ronald Reagan

This sort of academic left wing bias in academia is nothing new, every Republican president has been slurred and slandered by the left wing machine. Both the Bushes, Trump and most certainly Reagan. One college textbook for instance describes Ronald Reagan as a sexist incapable of charity.
