29.5 million illegal immigrants sucking the public's teats as per the study by Yale which claims it is only twice the census bureau estimate. The numbers were crunched by outside Independent Researchers who claim it may actually be 3X previous estimates.
“Our results lead us to the conclusion that the widely accepted estimate of 11.3 million undocumented immigrants in the United States is too small. Our model estimates indicate that the true number is likely to be larger, with an estimated 95 percent probability interval ranging from 16.2 to 29.5 million undocumented immigrants,” stated their report. [ Yale Study Finds Twice as Many Undocumented Immigrants as Previous Estimates ]
The authors Mohammad M. Fazel-Zarandi, Jonathan S. Feinstein, Edward H. Kaplan, used an average model of about 22 million, exactly twice the number accepted by the Census Bureau and other experts, but concede it could be up to 3X the estimate. Their study considers the illegal immigrant flow in a different light than previous models.
The Center for Immigration Studies, whose feathers got ruffled by the expose chimed in by rejecting the Yale Study, but failed to present a valid rebuttal.
