Gulf of Aden Vortex

Yemeni Star Gate

Run by Australian Julian Assange, Wikileaks has been in the News a lot in the past few years, in many cases they are the News. They have published many damning and embarrassing classified documents, most infamously to the American Democratic party.

One bizarre document Wikileaks published regarded a report delivered to Russian President Vladimir Putin by an Admiral Nikolai Maksimov, commander of the Russian Northern Fleet. The report alleges that an 'electromagnetic vortex' has opened up near the Somali Coast in the Gulf of Aden. As per Admiral Maksimovs report this 'mysterious magnetic vortex' has defied all the combined efforts of Russia, U.S. and China.

The Gulf of Aden is one of the most strategic and essential waterways on the planet it leads into the Red Sea. Located in the Arabian Sea between the Arabian Peninsula and the Horn of Africa near Somalia. Allegedly under the guise of combatting Somali pirates, naval vessels from many countries have congregated near this vortex. The USA, Russia, and China are among those gathered to study it.

Global Intelligence Files claims that Wikileaks obtained the report from Stratfor, a private intelligence firm that does work for many corporations and governments.

American scientists first took notice the vortices formation in late 2000 and allegedly established a base in Djibouti on the Horn of Africa to study it. In late 2008 the vortex began to expand prompting the USA to issue a serious warning to world leaders. It is alleged that in response to the American warning naval fleets from around the world have sent ships to the region. Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Turkey, Britain as well as the US, Russia and China all under the pretext of battling Somali pirates.

Outside the political realm wild speculation as to the nature of this vortex from alt-science have labeled it a 'Stargate' and 'inter dimensional portal'. Professor Wang Sichao , a Chinese authority on UFO research said of the phenomenon 'The Stargate theory is not credible. It has no basis in astronomy or the facts."

Alt Science aka Pseudo Science, is also blaming this vortex for earthquake activity and climatic anomalies over the past few years, that is when they are not blaming global warming. The vortex has also been connected to global warming / climate change by some. Admiral Maksimov allegedly stated in his report that, 'since the recent earthquakes ... the jet stream in the northern hemisphere is nearly collapsed plunging vast regions of the world into chaotic weather.'

The most conventionally plausible theory is that an unusual natural phenomenon exists in the Gulf of Aden that has peaked the interests of the world's governments and the scientific community. For the time being and the foreseeable future, the truth regarding the Gulf of Aden vortex remain another unsolved or unresolved mystery.
